The Korea Youth Baseball Federation announced, "The Siheung City Youth Baseball Team defeated the Ilsan Giants Youth Baseball Team 4-1 in the final of the 8th Storm Bae National Youth Baseball Tournament on the 23rd, winning the Blue Dragon (under 13) category for the first time in six years."

The competition, which was held at the Baseball Theme Park ballpark in Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon-do, attracted about 2,000 players and parents from 124 teams across the country.

Park Cheon-myung (Sohae Middle School, Siheung Youth Baseball Team) was selected as the MVP of the tournament, who pitched three scoreless innings and scored a timely hit.

Park Chun-myung, who won MVP, said, "The team members helped me a lot in defense, so I was able to play with stability," adding, "I will try to become a great player like Kim Kwang-hyun of SSG Landers in the future."
